Lucretia Herring Miller

Lucretia Herring Miller, 45, of Florence, passed away on Sunday, November 21, 2021. Mrs. Miller was born in Florence, SC a daughter of Barbara Collins Herring of Dillon and the late Jimmy Drafus Herring.She was a dental assistant with Miller Family & Cosmetic Dentistry. She was preceded in death by her father; maternal grandparents, Mary and Charlie Nash Collins; paternal grandparents, Louise and Edgar Herring; brother, Jimmy D. Herring, Jr.; and nephew, Justin Michael Herring. Surviving in addition to her mother are her husband, Douglas “Doug” Miller; son, Michael Miller of Charleston; daughter, Taylor Miller of Charleston; sister, Kathy (Jamie) Arnette of Dillon; in-laws, Randy and Marjorie Miller of Florence, Sandy (Mitch) Newell of Charleston, Michael (Melissa) Miller of Florence, and Joel (Glenda) Miller of Kingstree. Memorials may be made to the Huntington’s Disease Society of America for Research, 505 Eighth Avenue, Suite 902, New York, NY 10018. The family will receive friends from 1 – 2 pm Friday, November 26, 2021 at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home with the service to be held at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel.Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Dillon, SC.
