Lynda Craven Steele

Lynda Craven Steele, 75, of Florence, SC, passed away on Monday, January 3, 2022. Mrs. Steele was born the daughter of the late Mellie Hall Craven and Charlie Revere Craven.She enjoyed the Florence Little Theater and liked to travel and attend sporting events with her grandchildren.Mrs. Steele loved being “Mimi” and beach music. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her brothers, Glenn Craven and Julius Craven; and sisters, Ada Faye Craven and Wanda Gale Craven. She is survived by her husband, Robert Steele; children, Shannon Craig Dunn, Leslie Dunn Moore (Tony), both of Florence, Janet E. Richer (Ken) of Ottawa, Canada, and Glen J. Steele (Melissa); grandchildren, Parker Moore, Noah Moore, Hailey Steele and Charlie Steele; brothers, Donald Craven (Hilda) and Ronnie Craven, both of North Carolina; and sisters, Arlene Gibson and Wilma McLeod, both of North Carolina. Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, January 8, 2022 in the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel. Family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.
