Mable Huggins Hyman

Mable Huggins Hyman, 92, of Florence, SC passed on Sunday, February 23, 2025. Mable was born in Lake City, SC, the daughter of the late Rosa Haselden Huggins and Herbert Allison Huggins. She was a member of Bethea Chapel, a lifetime member of Peace Free Will Baptist Church and was a nurse for over 40 years. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, Andrew Clyde Hyman, Jr.; grandson, Andy Witherspoon; daughter-in-law, Beverly Hyman; two brothers, W. W. ( Basel) Huggins and Herbert (Marguerite) Huggins; and three sisters, Betty (Haygood) Jean Driggers, Nell (Johnny) Owens, Mary Huggins (Coker) Hardy (Rheuben) Floyd. Surviving are sons, Andrew “Andy” Clyde Hyman, III (Marilyn); Herbert “Al” Allison Hyman, Kenneth “Kenny” Wayne Hyman, Jeffrey “Jeff” Lynn Hyman (Shannon); twelve grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren. Family will receive friends 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM Thursday, February 27, 2025, at Bethea Chapel with the funeral service to follow in the Chapel at 2:00 PM. Private burial will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
