Malcom Foster Rogers

Malcom Foster Rogers Florence, SC Malcom Foster Rogers, of Florence, passed away Sunday, February 19, 2012 in a local hospital after an illness. Mr. Rogers was born in Florence, a son of the late Malcom Paul and Jewell Huggins Rogers. He was retired from Lab Corp, was a Mason and an avid Yankees fan. Mr. Rogers is preceded in death by his parents; and by 2 sisters, Junella Rogers and Yvonne Gaither. Mr. Rogers is survived by his wife of 32 years, Linda Turner Rogers of Florence; 2 children, Kenneth Malcom (Melanie) Rogers of Maryland, and Jennifer (Alexis) Taylor of Florence; 2 grandchildren, Tessie Rogers and Cameron Taylor; and a lifelong friend, Rudy Windham of Florence. Funeral services will be held 2:00pm Wednesday, February 22, 2012 in the chapel of Florence Baptist Temple. Burial will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. The family will receive friends 6-8:00pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
