Margaret Ann Tilton Tyler

Margaret Ann Tilton Tyler, 69, passed away on Friday, April 7, 2023. Ms. Tyler was born the daughter of the late Alice Lena Mae Hart Tilton and Johnny Woodrow Tilton. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her brother, Roger Wayne Tilton, her fur babies, Lil Bit and Pepper, and her best friend’s husband, Wade Burleson. Ms. Tyler is survived by her sons, Donald Eric (Colleen) McKnight and Joseph Daniel McKnight, both of Effingham; step-daughter, Robin Tyler Smith of China Grove, NC; grandchildren, Matthew (Ashley) Mullen, Christopher McKnight and Tyler McKnight; great-grandchild, Juniper Marie Mullen; brother, D. Steve Tilton of Atlanta, GA; sister, Johnnie Mae McKnight of Pamplico, and best friend, Ruth Burleson of Lexington, NC.
