Margaret Langley Gainey

Margaret Langley Gainey, 92, of Florence, SC passed away on Thursday, September 2, 2021. Mrs. Gainey was born on October 25, 1928 in Nash County, North Carolina a daughter of the late Adrian Dewey Langley and Manila Winstead Langley.After finishing school, she went to Raleigh, NC to live and work.She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Florence, SC. She was preceded in death by her parents; by her husband of 52 years, Robert Bultman Gainey; four brothers, and two sisters. Surviving are her son, Robert Lee Gainey; daughters, Carol G. O’Harra (Steve) and Ann G. Taylor (Danny); six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday, September 5, 2021 at Mount Hope Cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
