Margie Emma Crum Dean Florence, SC Margie Emma Crum Dean, 86, of Florence, a resident of the United Methodist Manor of the Pee Dee, passed away on Monday, May 14, 2012. Mrs. Dean was born in Rowesville, SC, a daughter of the late Benjamin Cleveland and Nealie Coleman Crum.She was a loving mother with a strong Christian Faith, a long time member of Pamplico UMC and a current member of Central UMC.She was teacher for 35 years, having taught in Branchville High School, Brookland-Cayce Junior High, York Junior High, and Hannah-Pamplico Middle School from which she retired. She is preceded in death in addition to her parents by her husband, Everette M. Dean, Sr.; 2 brothers, Wiley D. Crum and Benjamin C. Crum; and a sister, Cornelia Crum Spell. Surviving are three children, Everette "Rette" M. (Judy) Dean, Jr., Reggie (Sherri) Dean both of Camden, and Nealie Dean (Mitch) Smith of Florence; four grandchildren, Brett Smith, Josey Dean, Cole Smith, and Reed Smith; and a sister, Mary Crum (Russell) Mims of Charleston. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, May 17, 2012 in the Memorial Park Cemetery, in Orangeburg, SC, directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
