Marilyn R. Suggs

Marilyn R. Suggs Florence, SC Marilyn R. Suggs, 86, of Florence, SC, previously of Elkton, MD, died Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at the McLeod Hospice in Florence, SC after an illness. Mrs. Suggs was born in Philadelphia, Pa, the daughter of the late William L. and Edna Marie Eister Runkle. She was employed as a Legal Assistant with O'Malley-Bour and Gallagher, from which she later retired.a member of Pisgah United Methodist Church, Mrs. Suggs was a loving mother, grandmother and sister. She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband, Luther R. Suggs, who died in 1991. Surviving are her daughter, Cheryl Turner Hopkins and her children, Seth D., Jeremy D., Kyle R., Katelyn C., Kevin H., Garrett A., and Hayley L. Hopkins all of Florence; and her son, David R. Suggs of Florence; and his children, Rachel, Michael and Alyssa Maria Romanek Suggs, as well as her brother,Richard A. Runkle of Newark, Delaware and her dear friend Lena Romanek.
