Mark Christopher Dawkins

Mark Christopher Dawkins, 56, passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2022. Mr. Dawkins was born the son of the late Lena Galloway Dawkins Langston and Jack L. Dawkins. He was a graduate of South Florence High School and was employed by Walkup Electric. Mr. Dawkins was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting, fishing and landscaping. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his step-father, Bill Langston, and daughter, Claudia Dawkins. He is survived by his wife, Harriette Lunn; daughters, Maggie Dawkins and Lauren Dawkins of the home; son, Corey Dawkins of Charleston; brother, Jackie (Cindie) Dawkins of Florence; sister-in-law, Margaret (Billy) Early of Florence; mother-in-law, Joyce Lunn; brother-in-law, Edward (Ashley) Lunn of Florence; and special friends, Charles Grantham and Zack Patterson, both of Florence. Memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM on Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Chapel. Family will receive friends from 3:00 – 4:00 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
