Marshall Dow Goff, Sr

Marshall Dow Goff, Sr. Florence, SC Marshall Dow Goff,Sr. 52, of Florence, passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2012 in a local hospital after an illness. Mr. Goff was born in a son of Salley Allford Goff and the late Leonard Dow Goff. He was an exterminator for 17 years with Benton's exterminating, and also worked with Handley Forestry. Mr. Goff was a member of Hampton Lodge #204; and he loved fishing and hunting. He was a good and loving husband, father, and grandfather. Mr. Goff is survived by his wife of 27 years, Shelia Jean Gainey Goff of Florence; 2 children, Marshall Dow (Jennifer) Goff, Jr., and Mathew John (Dezarae Hartfield) Goff, both of Florence; a a grandson, Marshall Dow Goff, III of Florence, his mother, Salley Allford Goff of Florence; 2 brothers, Melvin (Rebecca) Goff of Darlington, and "Buck" Wendall Goff of Florence; and a sister, Sandra Goff of Florence. A Memorial Service will be held 12:00p.m. Friday, April 20, 2012 in the chapel of Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. The family will receive friends 6-8:00p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
