Martha Juanita Reeves Sherbert

MARTHA JUANITA REEVES SHERBERT FLORENCE, SC MARTHA JUANITA REEVES SHERBERT, 80, of Florence, died Wednesday, September 7, 2011 in a Florence hospital after an illness. Mrs. Sherbert was born in East St. Louis, Illinois a daughter of the late Walter and Lucy Judd Reeves.She attended Southside Baptist Church.She was a former president of the Hospice of the Pee Dee Volunteers, a member of the R.S.V.P. and a member of the Department of the Aged. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert Stephen Sherbert, who died March 16, 1992, a grandson, David Anderson who died August 23, 1997, and a sister, Helen Comley. Surviving are her son, John M. Sherbert of Florence; daughters, Bonita Kay Williamson of Sumter, Debra Jean Anderson of Florence and Cindy Lou Bahr of St. Joseph, MO; sister, Mildred Mayfield of Washington State; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the Hospice of the Pee Dee, PO Box 100551, Florence, SC29502. A memorial service will be held at 2:00PM Sunday, September 11, 2011 in the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel.The family will receive friends immediately afterward.
