Mary Ann Baker Young

Mary Ann Baker Young, 73, of Hartsville, S.C. passed away Wednesday, September 6, 2023. She was born in Lake City, SC, the daughter of the late John Carroll Baker and Mary Catherine Dennis Baker. She retired from Dr. Owens and Adams medical office. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband Donnie L. Young; step-son, Kenneth Young; step-daughter, Angie Lee. Surviving are her sons, Christopher Mark Young (Crystal Hallman) and Anthony Craig Young (Natilie); step-daughter, Denise (Frankie) Dudley; brother, Johnny Baker (Pansy); grandchildren, Brandi Burgess, Joshua Nicholson, Heather Kissiah, Hunter McLendon, and Taylor Young; great-grandchildren, Kingston Ready, Pricilla Burgess, Beau Burgess, Kallee Kissiah, and Brentley Horton. Memorials may be made to The Alzheimer’s Association, PO Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011 The family will receive friends 5:00- 7:00 PM Friday, September 8, 2023, at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Entombment will be private.
