Mary Evelyn Todd Gibbons

Mary Evelyn Todd Gibbons, 92, of Florence, SC passed away Thursday, October 17, 2024. She was born in Lumberton, SC, the daughter of the late William Todd and Annie Stogner Todd. Mrs. Gibbons was a member of Mizpah Baptist Church and retired after 20 + years from Time Warner Cable. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Larry Gibbons; brother, Earl Todd; nephews, Billy and Tony Todd; and niece, Honor Lee. Surviving are her daughters, Marianne (Jimmy) Gregg, Donna (Mike) Jones, Laura (Ken) Grimsley; grandchildren, Jeremy (Leah) Gibbons, Jordan (Austin) Meggs, Jamie (Zach) Patterson; step grandchildren, Jay (Alexis) Gregg, Charlie (Jennifer) Gregg, Michael Jones, Jr., Katelyn (Lee) Honeycutt; great grandchildren, Sawyer Meggs, Ensley Meggs, Brentley Patterson; step great grandchildren, Carolyn Gregg, Courtney Gregg, Lilly Gregg, Liam Gregg, Tripp Funderburk, Maryn Huneycutt, Tegan Carraway; nephew, Jimmy (Lisa) Todd; niece, Wanda Turk; and a number of great nieces and nephews and extended family. The family truly appreciates her special caregivers, Sandra Harrell and Brenda King and wants to thank Amedisys Hospice for their care. Memorials may be made to Amedisys Hospice, 500 Pamplico Highway, Florence, SC 29505. The family will receive friends 4:00 – 6:00 PM Sunday, October 20, 2024, at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Monday, October 21, 2024, at Stoudemire-Dowling Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
