Mary Elizabeth Grindstaff

Mary Elizabeth Grindstaff, 80, of Effingham, SC, passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2024. Mrs. Grindstaff was born in Philadelphia, PA, the daughter of the late Dorothy Lorraine Parker Kelly and Frederick Joseph Kelly. She had worked for the State of Ohio, Department of Mental Health, as an Account Clerk II. Mrs. Grindstaff was a member of Coward Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Edmond Grindstaff; brother, James F. Kelly and sister, Patricia Anne Gonzales. Surviving are her sons, Timothy Jones (Cathy) of Cambridge, OH and Kenneth Jones (Claudia) of Ft. Pierce, FL; daughter, Kelly Ann Jones Rinehart of Effingham, SC; ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and her three special daughters. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
