MAURINE Z. SIMMONS West Columbia, S.C. MAURINE Z. SIMMONS, 85, formerly of Timmonsville, passed away in her sleep Wednesday, January 18, 2012 in West Columbia, SC after an extended illness. Ms. Simmons was born in Mabie, WV, a daughter of the late Eugene and Ella Wiseman Zirkle.She was a member of the Church at Sandhurst, and had retired from the banking industry. Surviving are her sons; Kenneth (Kay) Simmons of Sumter and Randy (Mary) Simmons of Florence; her daughter, Beverly (Steve) Sease of West Columbia; 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:30PM Friday January 20, 2012 in the Mausoleum Chapel of Florence Memorial Gardens. Entombment will follow, directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
