May Thelma Batchelor

May Thelma Batchelor, 85, of Florence, SC, passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2022. Ms. Batchelor was born the daughter of the late Lillian Frances Wheeler Robinson and Francis George Robinson. She was a member of St. John’s Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John Edwin Batchelor; sister, Edwina Enair and her brothers, Ernest, Bud, Stuart and Leslie Robinson. Ms. Batchelor is survived by her sons, Edward (Cheryl) Batchelor of St. Louis, MO and Brian Alan (Leah) Batchelor of Grande Prairie, Alberta; daughter, Val (Jim) Batchelor Gleason of Florence; seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; brothers, Ronnie Robinson of Salisbury, NC and Carl Robinson of Amherst, Nova Scotia. Memorial Service will be held in the Parish Hall at St. John’s Church at 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 10, 2022, directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
