Mazie Lee Hutchinson Stephens

Mazie Lee Hutchinson Stephens, 89, of Pamplico, passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2023. Mrs. Stephens was born in Florence County, SC a daughter of the late Jake Hutchinson and Colee Poston Hutchinson. She was a lifetime member of Prospect United Methodist Church. Mazie loved gardening, and cooking for family and friends. She never met a stranger. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Robert Stephens; son, Larry Stephens, brothers, Roger Hutchinson and Johnny Hutchinson; sisters, Thelma Kennedy and Joyce Lee. Surviving are her son, Robbie (Sharon) Stephens; daughters, Carol (Richard) Parker, Donna Stephens (Allie); grandchildren, Brandon (Michelle) Stephens, Britton (Edward) Morgan, and Clay Parker; great-grandchildren, Ava Stephens, Jamie Morgan, Carman Stephens, and Kimber Morgan; brother, Donnie Hutchinson; sisters, Louise McBride, Jean Hanna, and Gayle (Joe) Kelly; special cousin and sister-in-law, Margie Stephens; special friend, Gerald Hicks, and a number of nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to Prospect United Methodist Church, 1256 Big Swamp Road, Pamplico, SC 29583. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon at Prospect United Methodist Church on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 with the service to be held at 12:00 noon in the church sanctuary.
