Melba Estelle Blackman Jordan

Melba Estelle Blackman Jordan, age 77, of Florence, SC, passed away on Friday, September 6, 2024. She was born in Columbus County, NC, to the late Garlon Blackman and Charlotte Mary Lois McQueen Blackman. She graduated from Southside High School and retired from Florence School District One. She spent most of her life as a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. Surviving are her sons, David Murray Jordan of Darlington, SC and Bradford (Amy) Jordan of Florence, SC; grandchildren, Kasey Bradford Jordan and Corey David Jordan; siblings, Benny (Serena) Blackman, Linda (Lawerence-Dec.) Hyman, Bernard (Willodene) Blackman and Deborah (Lloyd-Dec.) Jones and many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins. As well as many beloved friends and neighbors. The family will receive friends from 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM on Friday, September 13, 2024, at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held at 12:00 pm on Friday, September 13, 2024, at Mount Hope Cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
