Methel Poston Price Florence, SC Methel Poston Price, 99, of Florence, passed away Wednesday, July 11, 2012 in a local healthcare facility. Mrs. Price was born in Hyman, SC, a daughter of the late Purdy Allen and Lottie Gaskins Poston.She was a member of Liberty Chapel United Methodist Church. Mrs. Price is preceded in death by her parents; and by her husband, Willie C. Price. Mrs. Price is survived by her foster daughter, Lily Hanna, of Darlington; six grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. Gravesideservices will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 15, 2012 at Liberty Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. The family will receive friends 3-5:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home to assist the family with arrangements.
