Michael Wayne Brantley

Michael Wayne Brantley, 64, of Florence, passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2022. Mr. Brantley was born the son of the late Dorothy Jones Brantley and Richard Alton Brantley. He was retired machinist from International Knife and Saw. Mr. Brantley was of Church of God faith. He enjoyed fishing, painting, drawing and using his metal detector. Mr. Brantley also loved the beach, yard sales and telling jokes and stories. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Ronald Lee Brantley and Mark Brantley. Mr. Brantley is survived by his wife, Donna Kester Brantley; daughters, Amanda Elaine (Andy) Ferrell, Denise “Nesey” Wilkes and Toni (Mike) Weathers, all of Florence; five grandchildren, Tyler Ferrell, Haley Ferrell, Johnny Richards II, Patrisha Richards and Benjamin Kester; two great-grandchildren, Raven Garcia and Coraline Garcia; and brother, Mitchell Roy Brantley (Denise Graham) of Mullins. The family will receive friends 1:00 – 2:00 PM on Thursday, August 18, 2022, at the Stoudemire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM on Thursday at the funeral home.
