Mildred Bradshaw Rogers

Mildred Bradshaw Rogers Florence, SC Mildred Bradshaw Rogers, 71, died early Friday morning, November 26, 2010 in the McLeod Hospice House after an illness. Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, November 28, 2010 at the Palmetto Street Church of God. Burial will follow in Florence Memorial Gardens Cemetery, directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Mrs. Rogers was born in Hartsville, SC, a daughter of the late Foley W. and Mary Lee Hinton Bradshaw. Mildred was a graduate of Hartsville High School. She retired from Bell South, working as Operator and Dispatcher and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers. She was a faithful member of Palmetto Street of God, where she served as Director of the Nursery, served as board member of the Ladies Ministries, Head of the Church Outreach Ministries and member of the Seniors Alive Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, James A. Bradshaw. Surviving are her husband of 47 years, Jackie Dale Rogers of Florence; children, Michele Rogers Cooper and Micheal Todd (Melissa) Rogers all of Florence; 2 brothers, Kenny R. (Mary Ann) Bradshaw of Hartsville and John E. (Freda) Bradshaw of Bishopville; 2 sisters, Brenda (J.C.) Wallace of Hartsville and Ann (Bob) Caddell of McBee; 4 grandchildren, Breanna Cooper, Sarah Cooper, C.J. Rogers and Brad Rogers all of Florence.
