Mildred Henrietta Whitaker Coleman

Mildred Henrietta Whitaker Coleman, 81, of Florence, SC, passed away on Thursday, February 29, 2024. She was born in Monroe, NC, the daughter of the late Margaret Gainey Whitaker. She loved her grandchildren and family dearly. She enjoyed sewing and shopping. Surviving is her husband, Lynwood Coleman; sons, Ernie (Janet) Coleman and Wade Coleman; grandchildren, Mikayla Coleman, Chris Coleman, Skyler Coleman, Erin Coleman, Baylee Coleman, Morgan (AJ) Altamirano, Jennifer Coleman, Miley Parker, and Bryce Turner; her 6 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Phillis (Barry) Beaver. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM on March 2, 2024, at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at the funeral home.
