Minnie Richardson Dudley, 83, of Florence, passed away on Monday, January 15, 2024. Minnie was born in Horry County, SC a daughter of the late Seals Marion Richardson and Leila Mae Martin Richardson. She was a home health nurse for 30 years having retired from SC DHEC in 2002 and was an active member of Mizpah Baptist Church, where she was a Sunday school teacher and choir member for many years. She was so proud of each of her grandchildren and enjoyed watching them achieve all of their accomplishments. She loved working with her flowers in her yard and was able to still play the piano even after the Alzheimer’s progressed. After retirement, she found joy in traveling with Earl across the United States. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Earl Dudley; and brother, Favis Richardson. Surviving are her son, Robert E. (Julie) Dudley, Jr. of Florence; daughters, Tracey (Ken) McClam of Florence and Pat (Chris) Siegal of Setauket, NY; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and sisters, Sapphira Lipscomb of New Kent, VA, Peggy Anderson of Raleigh, NC, Barbara Owens of Mullins, and Patsy Johnson of Galivants Ferry. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, www.alz.org. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 pm Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday in the Florence Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel with the entombment to follow.
