Nancy Baxley Weatherford

Nancy Baxley Weatherford, 74, of Florence, passed away on Tuesday, December 19, 2023. Mrs. Weatherford was born in Georgetown, SC, a daughter of the late Luvenia Douglas Baxley and John C. Baxley. She was a longtime bookkeeper, working for over 40 years at Piggly Wiggly. She was a member of Midway Baptist Church. Mrs. Weatherford was a loving Mama and Nana to all she knew and loved others with her big heart. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Allen Weatherford, Sr.; and sister, Penny Evans. Surviving are her sons, James “Jamie” A. (Harriett) Weatherford, Jr. of Hartsville and Michael Weatherford of Mars Bluff; daughters, Terri Weatherford and Jackie (Wayne) Nolan, both of Hartsville; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; brothers, Michael (Lou) Baxley and Jimmy Baxley; sisters, Carolyn Crimminger and Johnnie (Tommy) Wright and brother-in-law, Ronnie Evans. Family will receive friends from 10:00 am- 11:00 am on Saturday, December 23, 2023, at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM on Saturday at the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Thompson Cemetery on China Berry Road.
