Nanny Louise Miles

Nanny Louise Miles, 85, of Florence, SC passed away on Friday, July 1, 2022. Mrs. Miles was born in Latta, SC a daughter of the late Bosser Brumbles and Ruth Williams Brumbles.She was a kind-hearted, good Christian woman, a hard worker and good wife. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughters, Judy C. Bird and Mildred Rachel Tanner; son, Steven E. Byrd; brothers, Jerry T. Brumbles, Jimmy Brumbles, Roy Brumbles, and William Brumbles. Surviving are her husband, Charles Miles; sons, Donald E. Byrd, Charles W. (Cathy) Byrd, and Purvis L. (Rebecca) Byrd; daughter, Audrey (Brad) Lilley; step-sons, Dale Miles and Darrin Miles; 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; brothers, Bobby D. Brumbles and Kenneth R. Brumbles; sister, Betty Jean Dean. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon – 2:00 pm Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home with the service to be held in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 pm.Burial will follow in Florence Memorial Gardens.
