Nicole King Smith

Nicole King Smith, 51, of Florence, SC passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2022. Mrs. Smith was born in La Mesa, CA a daughter of Leonard King and Diane Walker King. She was a member of the Florence Baptist Temple. Nicole graduated with an Associate Degree in accounting from Florence-Darlington Tech, was a manager with CitiBank for 20 years and formerly employed with BCBS. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Adeline Joy Butler. Surviving in addition to her parents are her husband, Norman S. Smith of Florence; sons, Gabriel Smith and Josiah Smith; daughter, Caitlin (Antonio) Butler and Sidney (Nick) Lawson; grandchildren, Vincent Butler and one on the way; brothers, Lenny (Shannon) King and J.T. (Nicole) King; nieces and nephews, Ethan, Emma, and Ellie. Memorials may be made to Reformers Unanimous, c/o FBT, 2308 South Irby St., Florence, SC 29501. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 pm Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at the Florence Baptist Temple. Burial will be held at 2:30 pm Wednesday in Currie – Cameron Family Cemetery in Laurel Hill, NC.
