Noel G. Spivey

Noel G. Spivey, 83, of Timmonsville, SC passed away on Wednesday, June 1, 2022. Mr. Spivey was born in Asheboro, NC a son of the late Theodore Clement Spivey and Helen Paige Spivey.He retired as an E7 Radioman from the U.S. Navy after serving 20 years, then retired from Fluor Daniel after 20 years.He retired a third time after 15 years in maintenance with Golden Corral. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Darrell Spivey, George Spivey, and Greg Spivey. Surviving are his wife of 66 years, Bobbie Powers Spivey; son, Tim (Terry) Spivey of Summerville; daughter, Vickie (Robert) Law of Grant, Alabama; grandchildren, Kendall Doyle, Keith Doyle, Aron Jackson, Matthew Spivey, Paige O’Neal; 11 great-grandchildren; brothers, Hampton Lee Spivey of Ramseur, NC, Brian (Vicki) Spivey of Greensboro, NC, Jim (Julie) Spivey of Asheboro, NC, and Ken (Rebecca) Spivey of Asheboro, NC. The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 1:00 pm Monday, June 6, 2022 at First Baptist Church with the service to be held at 1:00 pm in the sanctuary.Burial will follow in Florence National Cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
