NORA ELIZABETH MUNN PARKER Effingham, South Carolina NORA ELIZABETH MUNN PARKER, 92, of Effingham, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, October 10, 2011. Mrs. Parker was born in Florence, a daughter of the late Mary Estelle Coward Munn and Adam Munn. Mrs. Parker was a member of First Assembly of God in Florence for over 50 years. She was a seamstress and enjoyed gardening, quilting and sewing.Mrs. Parker was a loving Mother, Grandmother and Friend. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Ralph F. Parker. Surviving are her daughter, Gretchen (Loraine) Smith; her son, Rev. Warren (Adele) Parker; a sister, Della Munn; four grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
