Onnie Elvis Poston

Onnie Elvis Poston, 64, of Pamplico, SC, went to be with his Lord on Saturday, October 9, 2021. Mr. Poston was born in Florence County, SC, a son of the late Joseph Poston, Sr. and Janie Mae Miles Poston.He was a mechanic for Poston Trailer Repair and loved restoring old cars.He loved his grandchildren, nieces and nephews.He took care of his family. Mr. Poston was a Christian and loved the Lord. Surviving are his wife, Jane Etheridge Poston; his sons, Travis Poston (Rebekkah) of Effingham and Jason Poston of Pamplico; five grandchildren, Nathan Poston, Mason Poston, Logan Poston, Jayden Poston and Gracie Poston; sisters, Alice Johnson of Pamplico, Carolyn Jackson of Pamplico and Patsy Douglas (Andy) of Hemingway and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his brothers, Joe, Kenneth, Dale, and Wayne Poston; and sister-in-law, Patricia Poston. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, October 12, 2021, at the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel.Burial will follow at Woodside Cemetery in Pamplico.
