PAMELA H. FARMER FLORENCE, SC PAMELA H. FARMER, 57, of Florence, died Tuesday, July 12, 2011 in a Florence hospital after an illness. Miss Farmer was born in Florence Co., SC a daughter of the late Epp Farmer and Sibyl Worsham Farmer.She was a graduate of West Florence High School and Francis Marion College.She was a life-long member of Pisgah United Methodist Church and the Wesley Sunday School Class.She retired after 29 years of teaching at Timmonsville High School and was the Literacy Coordinator for the Florence Area Literacy Council until her illness. Surviving are her brother, David (Mary) Farmer of Florence; niece, Brandy (Robert) Evans of Columbia; nephews, David (Lee-Ann) Farmer, Jr. of Midlothian, VA and Scott (Marifaye) Haselden of Darlington; great-nieces, Hattie Haselden, Katheryn Farmer, Caroline Farmer and Rhiannon Evans; nephews, Robby and Ben Evans; special cousin, Jane Farmer of Florence; special friend, Perry Bell of Lamar, SC; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and she will be missed by her beloved pets. Memorials may be made to Pisgah United Methodist Church, 621 N. Ebenezer Road, Florence, SC29501. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, July 15, 2011 at Pisgah United Methodist Church.Burial will follow in the church cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
