Patricia Gail Lankford Barnwell

Patricia Gail Lankford Barnwell, 82, of Florence, SC, passed away on Sunday, September 24, 2023. She was born in Union, SC, on December 14, 1940, the daughter of the late John Wesley Lankford and Frances Green Lankford. Mrs. Barnwell was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Timmonsville, SC. She retired as a sales associate from Kmart. She loved being a mother and a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, making ceramics, and word puzzles, as well as coloring. She is preceded in death by husband, James Larry Barnwell; sons, James Larry Barnwell, Jr. and Brian Keith Barnwell; sister, Frances Milbrodt and brother, Donald Lankford. Surviving are her sons, Steve Allen (Lynn) and Charles Ray (Lynn) Barnwell; daughter, Katherine (Martin) Grossman; and several grandchildren and great- grandchildren. Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday, September 27, 2023, at Florence Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
