Patricia Watson Graham, 73, of Effingham, SC, passed on Saturday, November 25, 2023. She was born in Fayetteville, NC, the daughter of the late Joel Lovett Watson and Mary “Sally” Allen Watson. Mrs. Graham was a registered nurse at formerly Bruce Hospital then Carolinas Hospital System for 46 years, spending the last 30 years in the Emergency Department. She was also a member of Florence Baptist Temple. To know her was to love and adore her. She was a woman of faith and loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and depended on Him daily. By example, she taught her children and grandchildren the importance of a Christian life. She was the epitome of a southern lady and exuded style, class, and grace. She was loving, kind, compassionate and fiercely loyal to her family and friends. She was the best secret keeper and always had amazing advice. She always knew what to say, when to say it, and how to say it. She devoted her life to taking care of her family and friends. She was a nurse for 46 years and was exceptional. She was the type of nurse her colleagues aspired to be. She was wildly cleaver and a problem solver, and she made it look effortless. She was famous for saying, “This doesn’t have to be hard; it is just like making a dress”. She had an amazing smile that could light up a room - truly a beauty inside and out. She was a gift to everyone she met. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, George Graham and sister, Rebecca Watson Floyd. Surviving are her daughters, Celeste (Todd) Harris and Kristin (Craig) DuBose; grandchildren, Emory Nathaniel Leopard, Ayden Watson DuBose, Kinsley Grayson DuBose, Izzy Thomas Harris, and Adrian Joel Harris; and nephews, Darren (Brenda) Floyd and Brian (Layla) Floyd.
