Patricia Nell Watford Nettles Effingham, SC Patricia Nell Watford Nettles, 67, of Effingham, SC passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2012 in a local healthcare facility. Mrs. Nettles was born in Panama City, Florida, a daughter of the late Albert and Rosa Anna Rauch Watford.She retired from Assurant Group in 2008. Mrs. Nettles was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Barbara Ann Martin, Sherba Dean Morris;and a brother, Ashton Watford. Mrs. Nettles is survived by her husband of 54 years, Homer James Nettles of Florence; sons, Howard James (Tim Strickland) Nettles of Darlington, Chad O'Brian (Subrina) Nettles of Effingham, SC; a daughter, Wanda (Daryl) Carlson of Effingham, SC; three brothers, Paul (Myrtlene) Watford of Texas, Gene (Sandy) Watford and Larry Watford both of Florence; five grandchildren, Jacyn Palmer, Adam Nettles, Luke Nettles, Leah Nettles, and Kristin Brown; two great-grandchildren, Aydin Palmer and Ava Palmer; special friends, Pat and Ann Kershner and Scott and Carol Stevenson. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, February 3, 2012 at Lebanon Free Will Baptist Church.Burial will follow in Lebanon Cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
