Patrick Fitzgerald Hyman

Patrick Fitzgerald Hyman, 65, of Hickory, NC, formerly of Florence, SC, passed away October 10, 2023. Mr. Fitzgerald was born the son of the late Karl Noah Hyman and Mary O’Connor Hyman. He was formerly employed with Pepperidge Farms. He was a member of Christ Alive Church in Newton, NC and was active in transporting youth to activities. He was also involved in bible fellowship and the food pantry. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Karl Noah Hyman, Jr; sister, Lucille Cribb. He is survived by his brother, Paul Hyman; sister, Kathy E. Kirby; and close friend Bill Stockton. A Funeral Service will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, October 17, 2023, in the Mount Hope Mausoleum Chapel. The family will visit with friends following the service. Entombment will follow in Mount Hope Mausoleum. Memorials may be made to Vision Building Fund of Christ Alive Church at 1549 SW Blvd, Newton, NC, 28658.
