PATSY A. SMITH PAMPLICO, SC PATSY A. SMITH, 52, of Pamplico, died Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at her residence after a long illness. Mrs. Smith was born in Huntsville, Alabama, a daughter of Annie Powell Smith and the late Edward Smith. She graduated from Wilson High School in 1977 and attended Pamplico Church of God. Mrs. Smith was a loving wife, mother, and mema. Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband of 14 years, Wendell Smith of Pamplico; two children, Brandy (Joey) Miles of Florence, and Bradley Player of Darlington; step-son, Wendell "Bae Bae" Smith Jr. of Florence; a brother, Robert Clayton Smith of Florence; 5 grandchildren; 3 brother-in-laws; 1 sister-in-law; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held 4:00PM Saturday, January 28, 2012 in the mausoleum chapel of Florence Memorial Gardens. Burial will follow directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 3-4:00PM Saturday at the mausoleum chapel and also immediately following the service.
