Patsy Hooks Floyd

Patsy Hooks Floyd, 85, of Florence, SC passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2024. Mrs. Floyd was born in Nichols, SC a daughter of the late Walter Jesse Hooks and Lucy Ellen Page Hooks. She was a member of South Florence Baptist Church and retired as a jeweler. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Luther Henry Floyd, Jr.; daughter, Lori Yarborough; brothers, A.Q. Hooks and Franklin Hooks; sisters, Ophelia Hooks Duncan and Opal Hooks Fax. Surviving are her grandson, Hunter (Kelly) Campbell of Edgewater, MD, and sister-in-law, Derotha Hooks. Memorials may be made to South Florence Baptist Church, 2720 South Irby Street, Florence, SC 29505. The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 am Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at South Florence Baptist Church with the service to follow at 11:00 in the church sanctuary. Burial will follow in Florence Memorial Gardens Cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
