Patsy F. Lynch

Patsy F. Lynch, 91, of Florence, passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2022. Mrs. Lynch was born in Florence Co, SC a daughter of the late Charles “Charlie” Linwood and Pearl Hutchinson Fowler. She was a graduate of McClenaghan High School and attended the University of South Carolina and Francis Marion University. She was a Guidance Office Secretary at McClenaghan and West Florence High School. Patsy was among the founding member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Darlington, SC. She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Sammie Lynch; brothers, Ocie O. Fowler and J.W. “Buddy” Fowler, and sister, Elizabeth “Libby” F. Lawhon. Surviving are a son, Ken (Karen) Lynch of Murrells Inlet, SC; daughters, Sylvia (Rufus) Lewis of Murrells Inlet, SC and Lydia (Bob) Vermillion of Florence; grandchildren, Eydie (Gregg), Ryan, Jeremy, and Miranda; great-grandsons, Lucas, Avery, Nicholas, and Alex. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 pm Monday, October 3, 2022 at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at Florence Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
