Paul Woodrow Isgett

Paul Woodrow Isgett, 74, of Florence, SC, passed away April 2, 2025. He was the son of the late James Isgett Sr. and Catherine DeLoach Weatherford Isgett. Paul attended South Florence Baptist Church. After a 20-year career at Progress Energy, he also worked with Jones Brothers Trucking. A proud graduate of Southside High School, Paul had a passion for the outdoors, enjoying activities like fishing, hunting, horseback riding, camping, and spending time at the lake. Above all, he cherished his time with his grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by Tommy Isgett, Jimmy Isgett, Lynn Isgett Yarborough, Ronnie “Skeeter” Isgett. He is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn Dianne Isgett; sons, Paul Mitchell (Lissa) Isgett, Kevin Lewis (Jennifer) Isgett; stepson, Forest Ray (Tara) Matthews Jr.; grandchildren, Olivia Isgett, Emily Isgett, Gavin Paul Isgett, Jakob Robert Kelly (Alejandra Diaz Fernandez); step grandchildren, Ryleigh Ann Matthews and Carlie Rae Matthews. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM Thursday, April 3, 2025, at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Friday, April 4, 2025, at 10:00 AM at South Florence Baptist Church with burial to follow at Florence National Cemetery.
