Paula Gibbons Moore

Paula Gibbons Moore, 73, of Florence, SC, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, January 27, 2024. Mrs. Moore was the daughter of the late Madeline Locklair Gibbons and Hugh Gibbons. She was a member of Liberty Chapel Church of Florence where she was very active with the Women’s Ministry, the youth and the choir. Mrs. Moore was the co-owner of Moore’s Grocery and Sporting Goods for many years. She was a loving caregiver to her family and many friends. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, William Perlon “Bill” Moore; granddaughter, Presley Turner, and loving mother-in-law, Cora Moore. Surviving are her daughters, Buffy (John) Cariati, Dana (Joey) Perry, Wendy (Chad) Williamson, and Patti (Ryan) Garris; grandchildren, Raven Powers, Caitlin Powers, Logan Williamson, Chandler Garris, Baylie Garris, Deuce Perry, and Brody Cariati; great-grandchild, Revan Wedgeworth; and all her loving Moore Family and church family. Later in life she connected with members of her extended family, Pauline Ridgeway, Marie Ridgeway, Darlene Thames, Virginia Strasburger, Janice Wilkes, Sheryl Windham, Ricky Ridgeway and Tony Ridgeway. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 PM on Monday, January 29, 2024, at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held at Liberty Chapel Church of Florence at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
