PAULINE OLIVIA AMERSON "MAMMY" WEATHERFORD FLORENCE, S.C. PAULINE OLIVIA AMERSON "MAMMY" WEATHERFORD, 85, of Florence, passed away Saturday, February 11, 2012 at her residence after an illness. Mrs. Weatherford was born in Darlington County, a daughter of the late W.H. and Emma Stokes Amerson. After graduating from St. John's High School, she had worked for Southern Bell and Horry Telephone Companies. After moving back to Florence in 1965, she retired as Secretary/Treasurer of Weatherford Aluminum Products after 32 years. She was a Charter Member of Unity Baptist Church where she taught the 2's and 3's Sunday School Class for 20 years. Surviving are her son, Dan L. (Martha) Weatherford of Florence;grandchildren; Les Weatherford of Florence, Kristie Weatherford (Brad) Marlowe of Florence, Jason C. (Misty) Weatherford of Effingham and Dee Ann Weatherford of Florence; great-grandchildren; Morgan Weatherford, Camryn Weatherford, Ellison Marlowe, Pate Marlowe, Carter Weatherford and Jordan Weatherford. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, L.C. Weatherford, her step-mother, Vista White Amerson, and her brother, Maurice White. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 14, 2012 in the chapel of Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
