Peggy Ann Turner of Pamplico, SC passed away on May 14, 2022. She was born January 16, 1933 in Marshall, N.C. to LeRoy and Elizabeth Capps. Peggy was formerly employed with Electro-Motive Manufacturing, Roses and B. C. Moore’s. She was very gifted with her hands.She crocheted, knitted, sewed, decorated cakes, canned, gardened, and dabbled in paint. She was a member of Beulah Baptist Church for many years and served as a Sunday School teacher, enjoying fellowshipping there, as long as she was able to attend. Peggy is survived by her daughter, Denise Diedhiou (Thomas) of Pensacola, Florida; daughter-in-law, Kathy Turner of Pamplico; sister, Rosa Lee (Al) of Goose Creek; four grandchildren, Robin Montoro (Aurelien) of Marseille, France, Kellie Braveboy (Scott) of Pamplico, Tracie Allen (Jimmy) of Pamplico, and Joshua Diedhiou of Pensacola, FL; 4 great-grandchildren, Jeremy Braveboy of Pamplico, and Belle, Stryder, and Kaden Montoro, all of Marseille, France. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dolph H. "Pete" Turner; son, Michael T. Turner; daughter, Ella Laurie Turner; brothers, Jimmy and Bobby Capps; and sister, Betty Johnson. She loved her family and we were blessed to have her with us these 89 years.She was a wonderful sister, mother, aunt, grandmother, and great-grandmother. The family will receive friends from 3:00 – 4:00 pm Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at Beulah Baptist Church, Hyman, S.C. with a memorial service to follow at 4:00 pm.
