Philip K Higgins

Philip K. Higgins Florence, South Carolina Philip K. Higgins, 59 of Florence, passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2011 at his residence. Mr. Higgins was born in Ponca City, OK, a son of Margurite Higdon Higgins and the late Francis Joseph Higgins.He started working at Union Carbide in 1975 as an Electrical Engineer until they became ESAB Welding Products.He was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church and the Swamp Fox Power Squadron.Phil loved to piddle on his farm. Surviving are his wife of 31 years, Elizabeth Putnam Higgins of the home; a daughter, Kytha Elizabeth Higgins of Florence; a grandson, Kyven Emory of Florence; his mother, Margurite Higdon Higgins of Anderson; four brothers; one sister; and a number of nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at Hideaway Farms in Society Hill, SC.
