Polly Mcgee Tilton

Polly McGee Tilton, 81, of Florence, passed away at home on Thursday, December 2, 2021. Mrs. Tilton was born in Coward, SC a daughter of the late Leroy and Dorothy Louise McKnight McGee.She retired from Sara Lee Hosiery. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Loyis Robert Tilton; son, Robert Keith Tilton; daughter, Lynn T. Simpson; brothers, Billy, Luther, David, and Leroy McGee; sisters, Doris Marlowe, Helen Hewitt, Selma Powell, and Sadie Tedder. Surviving are her daughters, Cheryl T. (William) Isgett of Florence and Teresa T. (Charles) Wilson of Plattsburg, NY; 9 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Carolyn M. Tilton of Aynor, and sister, Clydia Hatfield of Florence. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, www.stjude.org. The family will receive friends from 12 – 1:30 pm Monday, December 6, 2021 at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.Graveside services will follow in Florence Memorial Gardens Cemetery at 2:00 pm.
