Ralph Duane King Sr.

Ralph Duane King Sr. of Effingham, SC, passed away Wednesday, August 21, 2024. He was born in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of the late John W. King Sr., and Nona Inez Bass King. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings, Gloria Carter, J.W. King Jr, “Butch” King, Tommy King, Sharon Gill, Denice Hudson, and Cheryl King; granddaughter, Hannah King. Surviving are his wife, Loretta Miles King; sons, Pete King and John (Jessica) King; daughters, Melissa (Wayne) McKenzie, Charlene (Sammie) Moore, and Michele King; grandchildren, Christian (Cody) Webb, RD King III, Gage (Taylor) McKenzie, Evan McKenzie, Eli Moore, Jase Moore, John King, Jr., and Jacob King; and a number of great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Monday August 26, 2024, from 1:00-2:00 PM at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home with the service to be at 2:00 PM in the Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens.
