Randolph "Randy" Miller

Randolph “Randy” Miller, 83, of Florence, SC, passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2023. Mr. Miller was born the son of the late Joe Cable Miller and Hazel Powell Miller. He was a faithful member of Florence Baptist Temple. Mr. Miller was a volunteer with the Dillon County Fire Department. He retired from Dillon Tire Service and Drs. Miller, Thomas and Ta Family and Cosmetic Dentistry in Florence. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Douglas “Doug” McRae Miller; and daughter-in-law, Lucretia Herring Miller. Surviving is his wife of 62 years, Marjorie Carmichael Miller; daughter, Sandra (Mitch) Newell of Charleston; sons, Dr. Michael R. (Melissa) Miller of Florence and Joel (Glenda) Miller of Kingstree; grandchildren, Krystal, Michael Douglas, Taylor, Reagan, Saviah, Ella, Baylor and Drayton; and siblings, Bobby Joe Miller, Gayle (Randy) Harrelson, Janice Rogers, Joan (Jimmy) Mishue, Jessie Wayne (Winna) Miller, Phillip “Phil” Miller, and Patricia (Jerry) Barr. The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at Florence Baptist Temple. Funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM at Florence Baptist Temple. Entombment will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens Mausoleum directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
