Richard L. Ritchie

Richard L. Ritchie, 57, of Florence, SC, passed away on Friday, January 10, 2025. Mr. Ritchie was born in Broadway, Virginia, the son of Juanita Roadcap Ritchie and the late Donald Ritchie, Sr. He worked at Frazier Industrial Company for ten years and worked at Bush Recycling several years prior to Frazier. He loved to ride his Harley with his motorcycle organization. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by brothers, Donald Ritchie, Jr. and Wesley Alan Ritchie; maternal grandmother, Beulah Roadcap; his fiancé, Toni Hair; and great-nephew, Brandon Forrest Ritchie. Surviving are his mother, Juanita Ritchie; step-father, Mark Nix; daughters, Faith Gladwell and Miranda Pennington; grandchildren, Taylor Roadcap and Myley Roadcap; sister, Angela Ritchie; four nieces, Danielle, Tristina, Makailyn and Lakely; a great-nephew, Jaydan; great-niece, Brandalyn; and a special brother-in-law, Jeffery Hair. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home and in Broadway, VA at a later date.
