Richard Samuel Weatherford Florence, SC Richard Samuel Weatherford, 60, of Florence, passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2011 in a local health care facility after an illness. Mr. Weatherford was born in Florence, Co., a son of Richard Weatherford and the late Mary Elizabeth Boatwright Weatherford.He was a diesel mechanic for Ard Trucking and Ryder Trucking and was of the Baptist Faith. Surviving are his wife, Tamara Lynn McKenzie Weatherford; father, Richard Weatherford of Florence; three sons, Jason Weatherford and Chris Weatherford both of Florence and Timmy Weatherford of Effingham; a daughter, Carol Lynn Weatherford of Florence; two sisters, Sandra Godwin of Florence and Michelle Gregory of Chesterfield; a brother, Jerry Weatherford of Florence; and 20 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.Burial will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens.
