RICHARD WISE, JR. FLORENCE, SC And now, there is only one set of footprints in the sand.At 12:40 PM on Wednesday, September 8, 2010 "Papa" was carried by Jesus into Heaven.Rest in peace, Richard Wise. Mr. Wise was born in Hanna, SC.He was a US Army and US Navy veteran of World War II and the Korean War having served in the Special Forces Green Beret retiring as Sergeant First Class.He retired from Home Appliance Center as a repairman. He was preceded in death by his mother, Daisy Wise Evans; step-father, James Lauren Evans and maternal grandparents, Brantley Seldon Wise and Nita Stone Wise. Surviving are his daughter, Kathy Wise Morgan of Darlington; son, Randy L. Wise of Florence; sister, Claire Ann Tilton of Florence; special family, Mary Davis Wise of Myrtle Beach; grandchildren, Angie (Curtis) Floyd of Timmonsville, April (Michael) Judge of Florence, Richard (Sam) Wise of Myrtle Beach and Sean Wise of Florence; great-grandchildren, Kaitlin Morgan, Payton Floyd, Edwin Floyd, M.J. Judge, Lexie Wise and Evan Wise; special four-legged kids, Coty, Little Bit, Major, Tiger and Fat Girl. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, September 11, 2010 at Mount Hope Cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6 - 8 PM Friday at the funeral home.
