Robert Davis Ward Pamplico, South Carolina Robert Davis Ward, 74 of Pamplico, passed away on Monday, October 10, 2011 in a Marion Health Care Facility after an illness. Mr. Ward was born in Dillon County, a son of the late George Thomas Ward and the late Agnes Herring Ward Bass.He retired from Vulcraft. He is preceded in death in addition to his parents are his first wife, Marion "Pumpkin" Cloe Ward; second wife, Barbara Barnette Ward; a brother, Franklin Thomas Ward; and a sister, Dorothy Ward Evans. Surviving are his siblings, George (Mildred) Howard Ward, Billy Gene Bass, Marion Joseph Bass, Patricia Ann (Chip) Hyatt all of Dillon, Leroy (Carol) Ward of Wilson, NC; a sister-in-law, Mary Ward of Dillon; a brother-in-law, Johnny Evans, Jr. of Darlington; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, October 13, 2011 in the chapel of Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.Burial will follow at Woodside Cemetery in Pamplico, SC.
