ROBERT E. "BOB" DITTMAN, JR. FLORENCE, SC ROBERT E. "BOB" DITTMAN, JR., 74, of Florence, died Monday, August 22, 2011 in a Florence hospital after an illness. Mr. Dittman was born in Rochester, PA a son of the late Robert E. Dittman, Sr. and Margaret Kindleberger Dittman.He was a member of the Florence Baptist Temple since 1987 where he was a Sunday School Teacher and Deacon.He retired from Church Furniture Inc. after 20 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents and by a sister, Carol Rosenberger. Surviving are his loving wife of 55 years, Wanda McIntosh Dittman of Florence; son, Kevin E. Dittman of Irmo, SC; daughters, Sheila Langnecker of Florence and Gail Kerstetter of Central, SC; brother, Larry Dittman of Rochester, PA; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the Florence Baptist Temple, PO Box 12809, Florence, SC29504 or to the Word of Life Ministry, 13202 Word of Life Drive, Hudson, FL34669. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM Thursday, August 25, 2011 at the Florence Baptist Temple.Burial will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens Cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
